Why do I perform the Lap Band procedure?

"I prefer the Lap Band because of its overall safety and absolute reversibility. The relative low cost, ease of placement, and limited downtime make it the best first operation for weight-loss. The Lap Band is also the best remedial operation to correct a failed bypass or other stapled operation. As expected, the best results are obtained when patients are followed very closely and coached throughout their weight-loss journey."
